The CNI Polarimeter Group develops, maintains and operates polarimeters in the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) complex. These include the AGS polarimeter, the pC polarimeter in RHIC and the polarized H-jet target, also in RHIC. In addition to providing polarization measurements that are essential to the RHIC Spin Program, the polarimeters also make it possible to measure single and double spin asymmetries in the √s regimes accessible at RHIC. These data are useful in understanding the spin dependent hadronic contribution to the transverse asymmetry.
