Package Proposal Evaluation
Instructions to referee:
- The referee has the formal responsibility of reading the package
design document and making a detailed and broad critique of the
design, specifically by making constructive comments about adherence
to STAR guidelines and standards, package functionality, or even on
algorithms chosen within the package. Comments need not be long
(one paragraph).
- Changes to the proposal are either mandatory or suggested,
depending of their importance. The SOFI rep has the right to change
the categorization of changes as seen fit.
- The referee should return the package design document with
comments and changes to the SOFI rep, who then gives authorization for
the creation of the package to the author, or witholds authorization
pending a redesign of the package.
